To alter Timer program steps – Re-Enter the above process, select your Day, follow as above and the “old” values will be over-written or “Rubbed out”
The picture at left illustrates the appearance for a Timer setting of COMFORT Heat from 6.00am to 7:30am and
later from 15:30pm to 22:30pm on Day 1
Appearance when in TIMER mode
The Clock symbol will show.
The sold ring line indicates COMFORT heat period(s).
The clear area represents SAVINGS heat period(s)
The pulsing “block” indicates the current Time
For FS, the centre number will be 1.0 to 10.0 – see
Table 1 below for details.
Screen Appearance when in MANUAL mode
• The Complete solid ring indicates COMFORT heat
is permanently ON
• For FS, the centre number will be 1.0 to 10.0 – see
Table 1 below for details.
Simply tap and release the button. The Devireg 550 will toggle between the two formats – illustrated below

Setting the Timer Programming
To Swap between MANUAL & TIMER modes
Select Manual Mode (see above) & rotate the button to the left (anticlockwise) until the display reads 0.0°C or 1.0 with the Frost
symbol showing. Continue to rapidly rotate the knob anticlockwise and the word OFF will appear. Your Devireg 550 will now remain
OFF.
Note: We do not recommend switching off the power supply to your Devireg 550 to turn the heating off. Please follow the above process.
To TURN your Devireg 550 OFF
Either,
from the OFF screen, rotate the button clockwise and select your preferred MANUAL heating level (refer to Table 1 above). Manual
& Timer heating are now both ON. Press the button once to toggle between MANUAL & TIMER modes.
or
leave the MANUAL heating set to OFF, press the Button once, TIMER heating is now ON. Press the button once more, the
Thermostat is OFF. From this arrangement, you can toggle between OFF & TIMER heating settings with just one tap of the button.
This makes turning the heating off for holidays and summer very easy.
To TURN your Devireg 550 back ON
With AdAP set to ON: you are setting the times the heating is to be ready. The Devireg 550 will work out when
to start & stop.
• With AdAP set to OFF: you are setting the times the heating is to start & stop.
1. Press & Hold the button for approx 6 secs (2 screen changes will happen) – first the CLOCK screen will
appear, then the Timer Programme screen will appear. Release the button.
2. Now, turn the button to select the Weekday number. (1 = Mon, 5 = Fri etc). Tap the Button. Now turn to the Time you wish your
first COMFORT heat ready – say 5:45am. Tap the button. Carefully turn the button to give the period you want COMFORT heat –
say until 7:30am. Tap the button. Now rotate the button until the next COMFORT heat period is reached – say 8:30pm. Tap the
button. Carefully turn the button to give the period you want COMFORT heat – say until 10:30pm. Tap the button. Now rotate &
release the button past 0.00 and start the setting for the next day – the Day number will have advanced by 1.
3. Continue this process until all days are set. (You can not “copy” from Day to Day, each Day must be set individually)
4. Now press and HOLD the button for approx 3 secs and your settings will be saved and the display will return to normal. Your
Devireg 550 is now set!

• Room or Floor & Room sensing – the centre Display numbers on the Screen read in ºC or ºF
• Floor only sensing – the display is a number from 1 to 10 – see Table at right.
