Please Note: If during the set-up process, a screen selection remains unchanged for 1 minute, the Devireg 550 will exit without storing any changed values.
To Activate your Devireg 550 or To Make Changes to the Setup
Setting /Changing the Clock
1. When connected to the Supply for the first time, your Thermostat will show the word CODE – proceed from Step 3 below.
2. If the Thermostat display is other than 'CODE', it has already been setup. To make changes, access CODE by pressing & holding
the button for approx 12secs. The display will move through the CLOCK screen (after 3 secs), the DAY/TIMER programme
screen (further 3 secs), then CODE will appear after 12 sec total) – illustrated below
3. From “CODE”, rotate the knob clockwise to select “0044”, then Press & release the button.
4. OPERATING MODE - Rotate the knob to select “ALO” then Press & release the button.
5. ADAPTIVE FUNCTION – select AdAP (adaptive function on) or rotate to select OFF (adaptive function off). Press & release the
button.
6. SENSING TYPE - Rotate to select FS = Floor ( r S = Room & r F S = Floor & Room). Press & release the button.
7. MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE (Mt) – generally 35°C for Tiles on concrete, 27°C for Wood or Vinyl or Tiles on Chipboard. Rotate
to select your setting, then Press & release the button.
(Note: Wood surfaces must not exceed 27°C – see maximums recommended by your Flooring Supplier/Contractor to prevent
glues softening & wood warping. NEVER operate Underfloor Heating on or under a wood floor WITHOUT INCLUDING a floor
sensor.)
If you have selected “r S” or “rFS” under Sensing type (step 6 above), you will now see –
8. OFFSET – OFFS – generally ignore this setting – it allows to “offset” the Devireg 550’s display temperature if required to make
it match another Room thermometer. If required, make your selection then, press & release the button.
9. SAVINGS TEMPERATURE - LO - Rotate to select how much lower you wish the Floor (or Room) temperature to be when the
Thermostat is Not heating. When your Thermostat is NOT HEATING, we normally assume that it is OFF. In fact with your Devireg
550 Thermostat, you select the temperature you want the Floor (Room) to not fall below. For example, if you set your COMFORT
temp to 24°C and you do not require any heating when finished with the COMFORT period, choose a Set-back of say -15°C.
Your floor will then need to fall to 9°C (24 – 15) before the heating will come on to keep the floor at 9°C. Rotate to make your
selection, then Press & release the button.
1. Tap and hold the button for approx 3 secs. and you will get the display showing at right. Release the button.
2. Now turn the button (either way) to select the current Day number. Continue rotating the button past 0.00 to
adjust the Day number to match the particular day.
The numbers are not day specific. We suggest: 1 = Monday thru to 7 = Sunday.
3. When the Day number is selected, set the current time and tap the button to save your settings.
Child Lock
To Lock the Thermostat
1. Press & Hold the button while rotating steadily anti-clockwise until “Code” appears. Release the button
2. Turn clockwise to select “0033”
3. Press button to confirm. The Lock symbol appears.
To Un-Lock the Thermostat, repeat above process.
